In recent years, the Beidou-3 short message communication service has been applied in Subei County, Gansu Province. Through the "Shanxia Yunshang" mini program, the grazing trajectory of all sheep can be viewed online, achieving scientific supervision of grassland resources and promoting the coordinated development of animal husbandry and grassland ecological protection. Local herdsmen have been provided with Beidou handheld terminals. When herdsmen pass through areas without signal, they can contact other handheld users or township governments at any time. The Beidou grazing APP embedded in the handheld terminal can also provide herdsmen with positioning coordinates and the terrain ahead, making their transition safer and more time-saving.  

Beidou safeguards the safe transportation of 11 million TEUs of goods on the China Europe freight train

At 10:20 on November 15th, with the departure of the X8083 China Europe freight train (Chongqing Duisburg) from Chongqing Tuanjie Village Station, the total number of China Europe freight trains has exceeded 100000, sending over 11 million TEUs of goods and a value of over 420 billion US dollars, maintaining safe, stable and smooth operation, marking new achievements in the high-quality development of China Europe freight trains.  

From 2016 to 2023, the annual number of China Europe freight trains has increased from 1702 to over 17000, a nearly tenfold growth. The China Europe freight train actively applies new technologies such as Beidou satellite positioning and 5G, develops and promotes railway electronic blockades with functions of breaking through seals, location tracking, and full journey insurance, ensuring its safe and stable operation.  

Beidou Messenger Terminal safeguards the safety of public users

Recently, the Beidou satellite communication terminal "Beidou Messenger · Lingxi Edition" was launched, which has functions such as two-way Beidou satellite message communication and precise positioning. Public users can connect their phones and other smart devices using Bluetooth, and upload location information through the "Qianxun Messenger" app in an environment without a mobile communication network, enabling functions such as one click SOS distress, one click safety reporting, and custom sending and receiving of Beidou satellite messages.
